Simon Reynolds

Simon Reynolds (FCA) Director, Independent Finance Consultant Simon Reynolds is the Director and owner of Siborgz Limited providing independent, projectbased IT, financial leadership and corporate finance support to organisations across the UK and Ireland. A Chartered Accountant (FCA) with more than 18 years’ experience, Simon specialises in delivering clearly defined outcomes for clients undergoing growth, transformation, integration, or transaction activity.

Simon has completed more than 30 corporate finance transactions and raised over €550 million in longterm funding across multiple jurisdictions. His work spans trade sales, acquisitions, MBOs/VIMBOs, refinancing, and development capital, supporting private equity investors, lenders, and management teams on a consultancy basis.

Recent assignments include acting as an independent Financial Consultant to PAM Group, where he delivered four acquisitions in 18 months, integrated new operations across the UK and Ireland, reduced working capital by 35%, and supported the successful exit to Optima Health at a 12x EBITDA multiple. These engagements were delivered as defined projects with clear deliverables, operating autonomously and without supervision.

Prior to establishing the consultancy, Simon held senior finance roles including Head of Finance for the UK, France, and Netherlands at Gazprom Energy (now SEFE Energy), where he led major transformation programmes, implemented shared services, and supported strategic investment decisions. Earlier in his career, he worked in audit and corporate finance at RSM (Baker Tilly) and in international financial planning at Kronospan. Alongside his consultancy work, Simon serves as a NonExecutive Director and Audit Committee Chair at Cartrefi Conwy. He holds an MSc in Information Technology and a BSc (Hons) in Industrial Design & Technology from Loughborough University.

Simon operates through his own limited company and can deliver assignments personally or through a network of associate consultants, ensuring flexibility, scalability, and continuity of service. All engagements are structured on a project, deliverable, or outcome basis, supporting clients without creating employmentstyle relationships.
